Hill & Foss Car Wash Systems

Hill & Foss, Inc. started in business in September, 1975. Car wash systems weren't on our minds when our two former major-oil company guys got together to provide services to the emerging petro-food industry. In fact, we found the car wash manufacturers by way of the convenience store business.

During the eighties Hill & Foss operated 22 convenience stores (all with car wash systems) and several stand-alone self-service carwashes with equipment from a variety of car wash manufacturers. We were continually looking for ways to tweak our business model and improve return on investment. We were one of the first companies to improve our self-service car wash systems by adding an in-bay automatic rollover.

By 1990 it was apparent that distribution of our car wash manufacturers' equipment and the servicing of car wash systems would need our full attention, so we sold off our convenience stores and carwashes. During the nineties, car wash systems became a major profit center at convenience stores and a great investment for private investors.

Today, Hill & Foss is one of the largest distributors for car wash manufacturers in the Southeast, serving the states of Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee. We offer a full line of Ryko car wash systems, from touch and touch free in-bay automatics, to self-service equipment. We are Ryko Manufacturing Co.'s largest distributor, with a strong relationship that dates back to 1976.

We have over 40 employees to serve you, including 25 in the Service Department and a full time Project Manager. We can help you bring your carwash project from inception to completion and then service your car wash equipment throughout its economic life.
